The menu leans into classic diner fare with hints of southern kitchen warmth, offering honest, satisfying options that make this spot a reliable breakfast and lunch retreat.

What truly marks this place is its quiet devotion to the unpretentious and familiar. The staff—or perhaps more accurately, the people behind the counter—carry an easy kindness that makes every visit feel personal. It’s a setting where regulars are recognized, coffee refills come automatically, and conversations flow as naturally as the morning light through the windows. This is a neighborhood refuge that invites you to pause, savor, and feel connected, no matter how briefly.

This is a true wayside diner in an old 50s/60s style shop. The donuts are very good. Heavy and sweet just like they should be. The coffee was really good. I love those old diner coffee cups. The eggs were perfectly over-easy. Hot Biscuits came buttered. City ham and hash browns were not very good. They both had an odd flavor as if fish had been cooked on the griddle right before. Sausage gravy was not in our top five, but decent with ample portions. Country ham was very good but smaller portions. Blueberry pancake was excellent. The bill came to $65, which floored us. But we did order two drinks and two doughnuts so I guess it does add up. We’ll probably stop in here again if we’re in the area, but be more careful about over spending. Definitely for the donuts.

Local diner, small place with big eats! The country breakfast is huge, served hot and fresh. Pretty good selection of donuts. I have been eating here for years. I love coming in, and the staff just brings me a coffee automatically, and the down to earth conversation of staff - you really do feel like you are eating at home!

Very friendly service and atmosphere. My friend and I stopped in here for the first time and we got coffee and donuts. The coffee was excellent and so were the donuts. I will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying other things on the menu.
